The Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention (ASAAP) in partnership with Desi Wear is pleased to announce our new “Desi for Life” clothing line! Proceeds from the sale of each shirt will support our current and future programs at ASAAP! The design was chosen from a contest held in the summer of 2008. The winner of this contest was Laura Barcena, who came up with an edgy design and the provocative “Desi for Life” slogan. “Desi for Life” means being proud of who you are, standing up for what you believe in, and supporting South Asians affected by and living with HIV/AIDS.
